We are pleased to welcome Laura Beaudin to the staff this September.
Laura has experience of working both in Canada and Saudi Arabia. She will be responsible for teaching the International Primary Curriculum to Grade III.

Also, Miss Amira. She has been teaching in Egpyt and has recently arrived in Khamis Mushayt.
She will teaching one of the KG1 classes.
Both Laura and Amira are native English speakers.

The school is pleased to announce that Miss Theresa has agreed to join the staff in the capacity of school counsellor.
Theresa is well qualified and experienced in the field of school counselling.
She will be visiting the school on a regular basis. If you have concerns about your child that you would like to discuss with her, please WRITE to the school and an appointment will be made.

The school canteen will be open from September, serving a variety of foods for snack time and lunch for those who stay for after school clubs

The full International Primary Curriculum for the Grades has arrived!
I haven't had a chance to read all 40 units yet, but what I have read is wonderful and very exciting I am sure the teachers and the students are going to enjoy this new programe.

One of the Director's from the IPC will be visiting the school in September and will be talking to the parents.

From September the school will have a full time school nurse - Janice. She is currently busy fitting out our new medical room.
She will be carrying out medicals for all students during the first term. You will all receive medical questionaires and appointments.
She will also be taking part in health education classes for the students.

We are making good progress towards our accreditation with the European Council for International Schools/ Council for International Schools. We are expecting our first visit during the first term. Again the visitors would like to meet and talk to the parents.


THE SCHOOL WILL BE CLOSED BETWEEN 31ST JULY AND 28TH AUGUST.
THEN OPEN AGAIN BETWEEN 9AM AND 12 NOON FOR REGISTRATION AND PAYMENT OF FEES UNTIL 4TH SEPTEMBER.
ALL FEES MUST BE PAID BEFORE 7TH SEPTEMBER - IST DAY OF NEW SCHOOL YEAR.
